best thermal underwear

When a friend recently boasted about her $200+ thermal underwear, I was horrified. With the holidays coming up, certainly there are more fun and exciting things to spend that money on? But if you have a job that requires you to spend any considerable amount of time outdoors in below freezing weather (she is a background actor,) doubling up on tees and tights isn’t going to cut it.

For maximum warmth, opt for thermals in wool or silk or both which are lightweight and good at wicking away your sweat.
