October is the month for pumpkin spice lattes.. and pumpkin peels! (The latter being better for your skin!) My Friday night beauty ritual now includes MyChelle Incredible Pumpkin Peel. It is a unique antioxidant and enzyme rich peel has exfoliating natural acids and healing vitamins that rejuvenates and supports cellular integrity while clearing pores and aiding detoxification. It is great for rejuvenating sun damaged skin during summer and dull ashy skin that you get in the colder months. Blemish prone skin also benefits greatly from this special treatment by exfoliating dead skin cells and allowing for ultimate tissue respiration and detoxification. Even after first peel, skin feels incredibly soft, smooth and clean with a renewed healthy glow.
Pumpkin Pulp, Enzymes and Fermented Juice are the main ingredients, so you will smell like pumpkin. (Think natural pumpkin flesh, not sweet pumpkin pie.) You spread a thin layer of the liquid over your face and neck (I even use it on my exposed hands and arms), wait 1-3 minutes (I usually go over), rinse with cold water. You will feel some tingle but not unpleasantly so. It only confirms the peel is working and your skin is ready to absorb your favorite serums and moisturizers. You can use the peel up to 2 times a week. Exfoliation takes time, but over weeks, blemishes fade and skin tone evens out.
